I grew up in a typical Indian household—chai wasn’t just a drink, it was a ritual. Morning chai before School. Evening chai with mom. Rainy days, exam days, heartbreak days… chai was there. But over time, something changed.
Chai started feeling heavy — lost the comfort I grew up with. That’s when I realized:We’re drinking tea that’s old, over-processed, and factory-made.
Then something strange happened. A relative returned from the US and gifted me a box of herbal teas. I opened it out of curiosity—and found tulsi, chamomile, lemongrass... all herbs from our own culture, wrapped in fancy packaging, marketed as "luxury wellness." And that hit me hard.
Why are we waiting for the world to tell us our own traditions are valuable? That moment changed everything for me. So I started blending. Tasting. Studying. Failing. Learning. I wasn’t trying to create a brand—I just wanted tea that felt real. I created recipes that honored the soul of Indian herbs but also tasted fresh and modern.
Every blend now goes through 10+ tastings. Every batch is hand-blended. Nothing is rushed.
One of our customers once told me,“My acidity has reduced so much since I started following your milk tea recipe.” That stayed with me.
Because this isn’t just about tea. It’s about choosing better. Feeling better. Living better.
If your chai isn’t making you feel good anymore—maybe it’s time for a better one.
Welcome to The Mantra.Tea that remembers where it came fro — and how it’s supposed to make you feel.
